Dear Mr. Rossi,
I came upon your e-cat device during my writing a research paper on Conflict and Oil while researching Fusion as a potential alternative. At first it seemed to be another “too good to be true” concept but as I continued reading I became more hopeful. I can only hope that nothing will stop the production of your device. I am also appreciative that you have answered each of the e-mails written to you.

Prof. Stremmenos has tested our E-Cats many times in Bologna and has made a very good work; I do not know what has been done in Greece from Deflalion with the documents made by Prof. Stremmenos; also other officers of defkalion made tests in Bologna, for this purpose.
The work has been good, as well as has been good the work that Defkalion made to get authorizations, I suppose, even if it has never been my business; the problems which caused the cancellation of the contract are just financial.

Il catalizzatore di energia secondo Rossi e Focardi (detto anche Rossi energy amplifier o E-Cat) è un presunto reattore compatto che, secondo gli inventori, permetterebbe una cosiddetta fusione fredda tra microcristalli di nickel e idrogeno, con produzione di rame e una grande quantità di energia. Il giornale italiano “Il fatto quotidiano” del 15 aprile 2011 (inserto Saturno) lo definisce anzi “reattore da tavolo”. Gli inventori prevedono una prima commercializzazione dello E-Cat per uso industriale entro la fine del 2011. Secondo loro, il catalizzatore di energia sarebbe in grado di fornire circa da 5 ÷ 15 kW (termici) con un’alimentazione contemporanea di solo 300 ÷ 1500 W (elettrici) scopo iniziale di riscaldamento.

1. Abstract
A new “Cold Fusion” device was demonstrated at the University of Bologna, Italy on Jan 15, 2011. Unlike the Pons and Fleischmann setup, which uses Palladium and Deuterium and can take months to perform an experiment, the Rossi/Focardi eCAT uses Hydrogen and Nickel, produces large amounts of power (more than 10kW), and can be turned on and off on command.
